Thathri-Bhagsunag

Description- Very strenous trek, sometimes on mountain goat trails with steep inclines, walking on large boulders. Very little used trail, still close to Dharamshala, passing through Triund and Laka.

 

Look out for- Wild life as on the Sidhbari-Thathri trek, close views of Indrahar Pass, the thickest Rhododendron jungles in Dhauladhars.

 

Start Point – Thathri (N32 13.867 E76 21.885, 1632 mts), District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India

 

End Point – Bhagsunag (N32 14.655 E76 20.090, 1772 mts), District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India

 

Highest Point – Laka (N32 16.326 E76 21.653, 3195 mts), District Kangra, India

 

Lowest Point – Thathri, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, India

 

Difficulty Level – Hard: Almost no trail, multiple stream fordings, steep slopes with bushy and thorny trails.
